Vindesine is a vinca alkaloid available through Lilly Laboratories outside the U.S. Studies are no longer being performed in the United States. It is midway between vincristine and vinblastine both in potency and in causing neuritis and low white blood cell counts. Studies had suggested some advantage over these other compounds when treating leukemia, lung cancer and breast cancer.
